All Caught Up!

Boy, it's been a busy couple weeks here in Gallowayland. Bill and I are exhausted! We had such a fun visit with Lori and John.

In between family gatherings and events we've been very busy choosing new kitchen items for our remodel. It's fun, but also stressful trying to make sure everything coordinates both visually and on schedule. I'm extremely impressed with the companies we've worked with so far. Everyone is so willing to do their best to minimize the amount of time we will be unable to use the space. It's a big relief to work with such wonderful people.

I will be taking before pictures of the space as the demolition starts. I'm pretty sure *fingers crossed* that most everything will be done around the 4th of July.

T.V. Stand

We waited almost 3 months for our new t.v. stand and it never arrived. That was more than a little frustrating! We decided to choose a different one and I really like it. Here's a comparison.

Pic-a-nic

For our last hurrah with Lori & John, we had a picnic at a local park yesterday. It was sad to see them leave. We had a blast shopping, painting pottery, etc. I can't wait for the next visit!!!

Big Kids Having Fun

My sister Lori and John visited this past week. All of us "big kids" went to Triple Play and had a lot of fun! We even left the little kids with Yay and Poppo. It was really nice not having to tend to their needs and just relax and have fun.

Miss Ree's Music Program

A week ago Ree had a music program that Daddy and Grandma Donna attended. Grandma brought Logan, our friend Sean & Maria's little boy. He's so cute! Bill shot some video, I will try to post that in a day or two. Ree loved the whole scene, but especially the cookies afterward!

Baby Shower

Grandma Donna, Bill, and I hosted a baby shower for Angie a couple weeks ago. It was an excellent excuse to tidy up and plant our flowers! We had fun planning the event. It's always a lot of fun to shop for a new little family member. Now we just have to wait patiently for our sweet little niece to arrive!

I must give props to Bill for all of his help with getting ready for the party and watching the kiddos. Not every hubby out there would be so willing to help.

Helping Yay

Yaya invited Hammie and Ree to help her place her yard ornaments. Ree declined to help, but Hammie was all over it.

"G"

These are the photos a Mother of a teen finds on her camera. That is, when the teen forgets to delete them. It looks like there's water spots on the bathroom mirror, but it's just an optical illusion. wink, wink

Pottery

G is taking a pottery class at school right now and I love it! He's bringing home some awesome keepsakes. He made a really cool teapot, but it got ruined during firing. Drat! Anyway, here are the creations he's brought home so far.

Creature of Comfort

I swear she finds the coziest of spots every night. I have many pictures of her little nests. They often include one of Ree's toys or a stray sock tucked under her chin if there isn't a blanket tossed aside.
