Christmas Craft Project

Made this little countdown calendar last night. I was in a rush to finish it in time to start using it tomorrow. It took me about 2 hours. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Halloween Cake Pops

Here they are. I had a lot of trouble with cracking this time. Which made me mentally crack. Anyway.....they are supposed to be one-eyed purple people eaters & pumpkins. I didn't have any spiral sprinkles to make horns for the purples, but Ree thinks they look like aliens, so we're going with that.

I had black confetti sprinkles and I hand-piped white chocolate in the centers to make pupils.

The Stocking Is Done!

My many months of labor are over. I delivered (no pun intended) L's stocking about a week ago. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. Here are some pictures that show how the kits work. Plus a tidbit about the macro feature on my camera.

Here is a portion of the instruction sheet.

Here is an example of how the felt sheets look. You cut each piece out (this kit had over 120), embroider or sequin then attach them either to the stocking front or another piece based on the instructions. The first image was taken in regular mode and the second, using my macro feature. What a difference!

Here are some pictures of the finished product.

Crafty Project

I saw an example of this project in a craft catalog. I fell in love and decided to make one for our house. I found the pitcher in April, have picked up felt stickers, felt flowers, rhinestone brads, etc. in my travels and grabbed the branches out of our yard after the fire last week. Voila'. I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm thinking of adding some Spanish moss to the mouth of the pitcher. Tell me what ya think.
